PROTOUCH MODULES
Touch Back office Module
The Back Office module comes with features such as Products/Modifiers/Sales
Reporting/Cash handling and button editor as standard.
Products
Displayed in a tree like structure, groups are displayed as
folders that hold products. Products have 2 PLU fields, 10
Price levels, loyalty points, with the ability to control
points by percentage or a points per product sold, two categories
for advanced reporting, Print que selection, printer priority,
KP Printer Text, Link Modifiers for menu stepping, link help
files for text, pictures and movies at register. If further
modules are installed the further links to stock, recipes
and Tax configuration per line item/price level.
Modifiers
Displayed in a tree like structure, groups are displayed as
folders that hold modifiers. Modifiers have printer control
Red/Black, small, medium and large print options, ability
to attach Products or stand alone, work with quantities or
be product instructions. Modifiers can work with the +
or - operator keys to give full and accurate operator
control. Modifiers can call further modifiers. KP (kitchen
printing) printer priority, KP defined Print ques, KP
Printer Text. Modifiers can link back to Products for
pricing. Special Modifiers work as stand alone instructions
or next serve options. If stock module is installed then modifiers
can draw from stock or call recipes to fully maintain accurate
stock holding.
Cash Handling
ProTouch has no close-off periods, so reporting is as simple
as selecting and setting your start and finish times and dates.
Cash-ups can be performed at the register or more conveniently
at the back office, which doesnt presume the manager
to end a shift and stop trading. All transactions and orders
are recorded so you can simply drill into any day and access
payment types, the number of orders on a particular shift,
the staff on duty, the hours they worked, their roles on that
particular day, the details of customer purchases and method
of payment.
Sales reporting
ProTouch displays current sales information as it happens
in real time, listed under headings such as product, category,
server, accounts, date, time, station and order type. In addition,
by drilling down into a category via the server, further data
further can be accessed. For example, at the touch of a key,
the number of coffees sold, the types, the tables they are
sold at, which staff served them and when, can all be ascertained.
All information can be stored and saved externally to the
ProTouch application.

Touch Register
Its revolutionary retailing
a simple to operate extremely
powerful windows based P.O.S. programme that is very versatile
and amazingly adaptable. ProTouch integrates to EFTPOS, Barcodes
Readers, Scales, Security Cameras, Petrol Pump forecourt systems,
Delivery with customer ID, Swipe cards for loyalty, floor
plan control. Accepts remote Internet orders and provides
real-time graph of sales by staff performance. Note: Plug-modules
are charged per register.
Accounts Module
This is a names database of both customers and suppliers that
accommodates a large amount of additional information and
offers many convenient functions and monitoring services,
non charge, stop credit or limited credit clients can be discreetly
identified. Credit limits can be programmed into individual
accounts, monitored and points allocated. Account balances
and points accumulated are available at the register. Invoicing
and statements are prepared in an open item system that also
facilitates the grouping of client accounts and when using
card readers for individual family members, their personal
cards can direct charges to one collective account. Account
payments can be received and receipted at the register and
account activated text messages from the register to the operator
can be incorporated. Account types can be grouped to user
defined groups gold, silver etc, also provision for Debit,
Credit and write off style accounts. Each account can have
a number of ID cards for family or group accounts.
Purchasing Module
This provides relationships to the product being sold
from one to one, one to part or through the ProTouch Recipe
builder, to get your stock combination correct. Stock Take
sheets and variance reporting can be catered for by item,
by group or by an all items stock roll. Inwards goods variances
and purchases are tracked for historical information and can
be viewed as a stock report within a date range.
The Purchase Order Module interfaces with the Stock Control
Module and automatically raises orders with suppliers to maintain
desired stock levels. Inwards goods can be sourced on an ad
hoc basis as required or actioned by the receipt of the purchase
order.
Tab Manager
Manages all open running short-term bar and restaurant tabs.
Other modules that also utilise the Tab Manager module include
Caller ID, and butchery module Follow me. Floor
plans views are available as an optional extra.
Floor Plan (Additional module)
Birds eye view of a dining area, at a press of a key
displays current status of the tables to help with table turns.
Customised backdrop of floor plan views, drag and drop tables
to new locations, Training tables, gateway to Tabs and Bookings.
Easy transfer of table tabs and Bar tabs between Table/Table,
Table to Tab and vice versa.
Hotel Room Charging
We have three interface protocols, which support THS, RMS
and CMS front desk systems. CMS is based on the Fidelio interface.
This interface allows posting of orders to room accounts,
sales are posted on a category basis (e.g. food, Bar). The
'Phoenix Hotel Manager' by THS seamlessly interfaces with
the ProTouch system, this system integrates for charge backs
for remote restaurants, charging back to the Hotel via the
Internet (TCP / IP).
Time and Attendance
This is a simple time in attendance system that can handle
different jobs at different pay rates for each employee. It
enables you to log on and off, or change job description at
each register logon screen, there are employer profiles attached
to each register (i.e. a cleaner cannot logon to the till).
A management report is produced for hours worked by employee
by job and rate.
Satellite (Hand-held wireless ordering system)
A wireless hand held unit that integrates into the ProTouch
system, Satellite offers a mobile point of sale
terminal from standard off the shelf hardware (Ipaqs).
This technology delivers faster sales performance, that allows
waiting staff to stay in their section focusing on their sales
area without the need to leave. All orders processed are delivered
straight into the kitchen and placed onto ProTouch Tabs or
Tables. Table status is displayed real-time on the Satellite
hand-held unit. Meal notes and todays specials can also
be displayed. Supports menu stepping and order review before
sending.
Video Ordering System (VOS)
This new program is called VidMan; VidMan takes orders from
the Registers and displays them on appropriately placed screens,
located in a manufacturing area like the Kitchen. Each screen
can have multiple panels to display orders waiting to be processed.
VidMan can have multiple screens chained together in a number
of ways to suite your manufacturing process. VidMan can control
what items or components are displayed at each manufacturing
step or screen. Utilizing touch screens to interact with the
chef, VidMan has many simple functions, trigger timers, order
expansion, order priorities, advanced menu choices cut / paste
and order finished options. Orders or components can be sorted
and have colour applied to each line item for easy recognition.
VidMan Interacts with the register, letting servers at the
register know which step the order is currently at Cooking,
Packing etc. also allowing servers to change the priority
of the order (High/Low). The servers bump the order, which
tells the system that the client has uplifted the order.
VidMan interfaces in to ProTouch Caller ID and if an order
is pre ordered for a set time, VidMan will work out the average
time and place the caller ID order into the que so the order
is ready at the requested time.
Software licence per extra VOS screen
This license allows second and subsquent screens to be contected
to the VOS
DEVELOPMENT
The ProTouch application has been developed to be robust
enough to handle all your POS needs. Through an open development
process, ProTouch has always looked for new or improved ways
to improve itself. Every year our development team is asked
for progressive features from clients and its dedicated team
of dealer & installers world wide. Instead of informing
the customer of a simple yes or no answer, the customer is
invited to detail the feature they desire. We take onboard
customers wish lists as a valuable part of design process.

ProTouch release more exciting than the next.
